RAM K6 Series Air Winches
Dual Rated Air Winch for handling both Utility Loads and Personnel
Like all the RAM “Klone” series of air winches, the K6 is more rugged, tough and dependable than the original models introduced into the oil field back in 1957.
Built from low-temperature materials and fully capable of meeting current ABS, DNV or LRS, Third Party certification requirements, the RAM K6 series air winches can handle any Dual Rated application on the Drill Floor or Moonpool application found on today’s modern Barge, Jack Up & Floating Rigs anywhere in the world.
Easy to work on and less expensive to maintain, the RAM K6 air winch uses 35 to 40% less air consumption to provide the same line pull and line speeds as any Generation of air winch currently found on the market.
A drum mounted Manual Brake & Automatic Brake are standard
