Originally designed to be the first dedicated personnel hoist in the oilfield, the RAM ML1550 MAN-LIFTER offered a compact hoist capable of lifting two men, tools and work basket.

While this hoist is not Load-Limited, its versatility makes it perfect for specific application such Casing and Stabbing Board Handling and use on small to medium size land rigs.

Equipped with an internal disc brake and the user’s choice of automatic or manually operated drum mounted band style load brakes, the ML1550 is capable of meeting low-temperature requirement or general use applications.

Certified by ABS for + CDS standards for personnel handling, the RAM ML1550 is ready to lift your most valuable load.

Outboard safety cable anchor design insures that the three (3) “dead” wraps on the drum will never be violated.   Allows inspection of the setscrew anchor tie down, even when the drum is full of rope.
