RAM R5P Air Winch, Model: R5P‐24‐XK1

Like all the RAM air winches, the “R5P” represents a modern integrated design combining the best of our older generation air winches with the needs of modern Drilling applications to use air, hydraulic and electric motors and control systems.

Available with the option for non-standard low-temperature materials and meeting current CE and Third Party cer- tification requirements, the RAM R5P air winch can handle retrofit or new-build Jack Up or Floating Drilling Rig application anywhere in the world.

Easy to work on and less expensive to maintain, the RAM R5P air winch uses the balanced R5M-295, the first new radial piston air motor to be built in the last 20 years which offers competitive air consumption while providing the same line pull and line speeds as any 5 ton air winch currently found on the market.

The R Series is equipped with a standard internal disc brake with options for drum mounted load brakes as well as your choice of Local or Remote Control Systems and numerous other application specific options.

The R5P is in full compliance with both ABS and DNV rules for current design guidance.
